There are many tasks on a property which in the past have required some heavy lifting and they seem to only ever crop up when a farmer is on their own.

Geoff Lark from Lark UTVs has developed a solution to help ease the load.

As an attachment on one of his Hisun 550 side-by-sides, Geoff developed a winch tailgate which takes all the heavy lifting out of loading onto the vehicle’s tray.

“The tailgate implements an easy to use winch system which takes the strain out of loading onto the back of the side-by-side,” Geoff said.

“Anyone can use the winch to lift things onto the tray without any need to strain.

“Whether it is a 44 gallon drum, a roll of wire or even a stranded ewe, farmers can now just move it onto the lowered tailgate and winch it up without having to put their back in a compromising position.

“And the best part is that the winch lifting system is always with them and is ready to use where ever they go.

“There is no need for heavy lifting when you have this tailgate.

“It even comes with the opportunity for a Worksafe rebate,”
